It’s that time again! Hard to believe but the cool fall air is blowing in and the goblins will be out in full swing. The mall is starting to get really busy, people are out looking for back to school clothing and those with smaller ones are out looking for Halloween outfits for their cuties.
It’s become a bit of a tradition here to plan our Halloween Spooktacular…it has become so popular that I’ve received requests from clients to book their session before I had even chosen dates. I love the Spooktacular, it’s a hoot!
What is our Spooktacular you ask?
Well, we have a full day of fun; the kiddies come in costume for a mini (5-7 min) photo-shoot, they dance and play with some of the other kiddies, take a juice box and have some fun! We have the studio decorated, there is place to color and some snacks for the kids. It’s complete chaos; it’s loud and the kids are rockin’ out! I look forward to it every year. It’s a chance to catch up with some of our regular clients as well as an opportunity to meet a few new ones.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Appointments are preferred but not necessary. We don’t mind if you come and party while you wait for your session however, making an appointment does reduce some of the wait times.
How does it work?
Come on in for your mini session and if there is time afterwards we download your files immediately and you can choose your favorite images. If time doesn’t allow for you to stay, we’ll host a mini web gallery for you.
What does it cost?
The cost is $20.00 plus tax. and that includes 3 of your favorite images in 5×7 size.
Can I choose more images?
Absolutely, each additional image is $5.00.
How do I receive the files?
The files will be emailed to you a few days later. You can print them, put them on your facebook, send them the grandma…whatever you want.
Can I get prints too?
Yes. There will be additional charge if you prefer we print them for you.
When is the Spooktacular?
Saturday October 15th from 10am-5pm. We have reserved Thurs the 13 as a possible second date if requested. Go to our facebook page to see more images from previous years’ sessions:
Hey Everyone! We have a Spooktacular Update! We are collecting donations for Supportive Housing for Young Mothers here in Dartmouth. SHYM started as a collective idea in January 2002 by a group of concerned community members and opened their doors in the fall of 2007 when they completed renovations on their building and opened their doors to young families. We want your help in supporting this amazing program. We are asking that you donate some items for the babies and mothers who call Supportive Housing for Young Mothers (SHYM) home. We are collecting baby nail clippers, face cloths, hooded towels, sleepers, baby wash and lotion, baby butt paste, books etc. As a thank you for everyone who does bring in a donation your name will be entered into a draw for one of two $50 gift certificates for Pure Images Photography. As well, the very awesome Julie Bickford from Klassy Kids is giving one lucky person who brings in a donation a Melissa and Doug Monster Puppet! (How appropriately themed!) Thanks so much Julie, we appreciate your support!
