We operated freelance for three years and in July of 2007 Pure Images Photography moved into the Bay in the Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth, NS.
Later that month we were married at the very beautiful Pictou Lodge. Trust me when I say it was a very busy few months
The photo on the left was our engagement photo taken by our friend and amazing wedding photographer Sabrina Thurlow.
With a love of people (especially those chubby cheeked little people) we continued to operate our family portrait studio and were thrilled to welcomed our first child in the winter of 2007. At three years old he is more amazing than I could have imagined and continues to wow me on a daily basis. We are currently expecting baby number two to arrive in the summer.
Our family portrait studio provided contemporary maternity, newborn, children and family portraiture until we relocated our studio in March of 2012. Please take a look at our galleries to see samples of our work.
We made the decision to move “back home” and are currently operating Pure Images Photography in the New Glasgow area and are available in New Glasgow, Trenton, Stellarton, Westville, Pictou and surrounding areas for your photography needs.

During our time off you will probably find us cruising around in the beautiful Pictou County with our amazing son. We love swimming at Melmerby Beach, walking in Trenton Park or having a BBQ in the backyard with our fantastic friends and family.
On rainy days, we love baking, “doing crafties” with our son and we are learning how to use a sewing machine. Someday, I’ll learn to knit…maybe next year!
