Little Miss A made her arrival three weeks ago and big sister, Miss R is thrilled to bits with her. Beyond Beautiful…sisters are the friends you choose and I know these two will be best friends for life. So patient, so helpful to Mommy and Daddy and so amazingly gorgeous (look at those curls), I am so honored you choose me to capture these for you. I met the family a few weeks ago for their maternity images a few weeks ago and am so happy to be able to photograph the belly and what was inside
Welcome to our world!
This past weekend was amazing! It was the last of my scheduled sessions before I officially take my maternity leave (I know it seems like I’ve been on leave for weeks but these two photography sessions were my last scheduled ones and I am currently in the process of finishing up all my print orders before this baby arrives…truly I am)
I had a newborn session in the morning and this maternity session in the afternoon…it was a great (but very busy) day!
Check out this amazing sneak peek! So happy to finally get to meet these parents to be; it was an absolute pleasure to meet you both. You are confident, relaxed and truly beautiful and I am so happy you choose me to create these timeless images for you…I’m so thrilled for you both.
We finally made it out for another maternity session. I’ve been so busy getting settled here I was finding the time was slipping away. My first was a winter baby so there was no way I was able to do an outdoor session so I was so happy to be able to get outside and do a few more maternity images at the beach. Last Friday night my husband and I and the very awesome Wendy Malley from Wendy Malley Photography came out to Melmerby Beach for a few hours to do some amazing maternity images for us. Here is one of my favorites my husband took:
I’ll post some more of the two of us when Wendy sends them to us!
Is there anything more amazing or more exhausting than those first few weeks? You know how it is, you are so tired but you just want to stare at that little face while they sleep snuggled into you. You have felt their kicks and you wonder what they’ll look like, if they’ll have your nose and the anticipation of waiting just about drives you crazy….but when those eyes hold yours for the first time, you know what heaven is like. Welcome little miracle….so excited to meet you!
