The crisp fall leaves, a cool breeze and a family portrait at Trenton Park….what a perfect day! It took some clever planning to finally have all the kids and grand kids in the same place at the same time and hope that the weather co operated. I have known this amazing, talented and good looking bunch for ever…I went to high school with “the kids” so I was honored to be chosen to create some fabulous images of such a special day for them. You are all so very lovely and it was my absolute pleasure!
Cuties…love these! The glorious backdrop of Trenton Park was the setting for this spectacular family; even though it was a bit chilly they were troopers as we moved from one end of Trenton Park to the other. It was my pleasure!
Our fall mini sessions at Trenton Park were held at the absolute perfect time of the year….fresh fall colors, cool air and beautiful light. What a fabulous afternoon spent with a beautiful family… the kids were awesome little troopers! Love you guys, it was a blast!
One of the most amazing things about my career is watching chubby little babies grow into beautiful children! This awesome family were one of my very first clients and although one of the kids is now taller than I am, I feel incredibly blessed to have had the pleasure to see you grow into the adorable children you have become.
As always, I am in awe of you…thank you for allowing me the pleasure to create some beautiful images for you!
All set for an amazing destination wedding next year, Andrew and Laura came to New Glasgow for a fun filled afternoon for their engagement session! What a blast. We cruised around Pictou County and I was eager to show them a little bit of where I grew up. First stop was the fabulous Empire Drive In in Westville and we finished off our afternoon enjoying some wildlife and bubbles at Trenton Park.
Although one of the few remaining drive in theaters still around, the Empire Theater Drive In is sadly closing down. It has just finished it’s last season and I am one of many who will fondly remember their childhood evenings with the folks at the drive in wearing jammies and falling asleep in the back of the station wagon…. really, who could forgot the intermission cartoon with the dancing fudge sticks and the hot dog jumping into the bun? I know I never will….hmmm, good times.
Enjoy the memories….
Thanks Andrew and Laura, it was a fabulous day!
I had the pleasure of meeting & photographing this beautiful family earlier this summer. We had been in touch for a few months trying to schedule a session…I was just finishing my mat leave and they were in the midst of a very busy spring/summer and we picked the date! Everything was going according to plan and on the day of the session the rain was just waiting to pour! As we headed over to Dartmouth a few raindrops hit the windshield and I thought we were going to have to reschedule… Fingers crossed I was so excited the rain held off for about an hour and I was able to capture some beautiful family images as well as these adorable ones of the wee ones. I love that it’s so obvious how much these two adore each other. What an amazing big brother you are! It was my absolute pleasure!
